Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue A. Ellis Taylor is an American actor and producer. She received a BA at Brown University in African-American Studies. The Tisch School of the Arts, New York University she received an MFA. Aunjanue is l. Ellis, the American actor and producer who has been in the theater and TV and films as well, is active across both sides of the screen. Her career in acting began at the theatre. Later, she was a part of several television shows, independent films and mainstream movies. Her most well-known roles were in the role of Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) as well as on BET's massive The Book of Negroes. The series both received critical acclaim, but she also received a number of accolades. In 1995, she made her debut in the role of Ariel on stage as Ariel in The Tempest. She's appeared on Broadway as a part of Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. She is most well-known for her role in the series Men of Honor as well as The Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. In her television work, she's received praise for her part as a regular character on ABC's cop drama High Incident.
